Be careful what you wish for

Many bloggers undoubtedly daydream from time to time about achieving stardom or even superstardom in the blogosphere. I certainly don't. It is vicious out there, and I don't have a particularly thick skin. I doubt that I could handle the hate mail that Instapundit, kos, Atrios, Charles Johnson, the Powerline crew and others get on a daily basis. (In fact, Hindrocket from Powerline snapped recently.)

The foregoing is simply intended as an introduction to this -- Gaypatriot has been intimidated into leaving blogland.
