I'm not exactly sure when it happened, but the sports pages now seem to consider puns as required in the headline on any big event. For some reason, it can't be "Colts Defeat Bears." No, it has to be something like "Sodden Impact" (StarTribune) or "Horsepower!" (USA Today).
Stop. Please.
